Stocked with rainbow trout and eastern brook trout, the fishing is abundant and challenging. And surrounded by the snowcapped Canadian Rocky Mountains of Jasper National Park , an afternoon spent on the lake is forever etched in your memory.

Maligne Lake guided fishing tours include transportation to and from all Jasper hotels all necessary equipment for a day of fishing; and a professional, licensed guide. Fishing trips are available for half and full days, with full-day trips including lunch.

For those preferring to venture out on their own, fishing boats and tackle may be rented and fishing licenses may be purchased from the historic Curly Philips Boathouse on Maligne Lake.
