TRAIL RIDING Each morning and afternoon, professionally guided horseback rides depart from the Maligne Lodge for the climb to the abandoned site of the old fire lookout near the 7,000 ft. summit of the Bald Hills. This ride takes you up through dense pine forests into a sub-alpine meadow well above treeline. From here views of the glacierclad peaks and sparkling waters of Maligne Lake are panoramic. Trip duration 3 1/2 hrs. |
